The Cairns Colonial Club Resort, our island resort on the mainland, is a well known, popular and truly, tropical resort hotel. Low set accommodation on over 11 acres of tropical gardens, including three lagoon pools, two Restaurants, Poolside Café and four bars, an ideal setting for a holiday in the tropics.
Undergoing refurbishment due for completion by July 2008, we have a range of rooms. Standard Rooms for great value for money. Our larger Colonial rooms for a bit more space & larger bathroom. The Studio Rooms ideally suited to families, featuring a kitchenette and additional space and our Superior Rooms with a private terrace or balcony overlooking the pool or gardens. All rooms open up into a garden setting creating a truly tropical atmosphere.
A wide range of facilities such as a Fitness Centre, heated Spa, Tennis Court, Hair Salon, Guest Lounge, a Resort Shop and Conference Centre, ensure great flexibility and a vast selection of options.
The Cairns Colonial Club Resort offers free airport transfer services and a regular shuttle bus to/from the Cairns City Centre throughout the day.

What’s new for 2008-09:
Cairns Colonial Club Resort is on track with their extensive $5 million refurbishment at the tropical resort. A soft refurbishment has commenced at the resort beginning with the Standard rooms to be completed by the end of April, followed by the Colonial and Studio Rooms due for completion at the end of July.
The end result will be a revamped and refreshed Cairns Colonial Club Resort! Significant changes will be made to all of the rooms, creating a more modern look and contemporary feel for the 345 room resort set in lush, tropical gardens
