Welcome to Brisbane!

Famous for its great weather, exciting events and cultural scene, Brisbane has a sophisticated, warm and friendly charm. It is one of those rare cities built around people and lifestyle and with bright sunny days and balmy nights, it reflects the warm welcome visitors receive from the locals. Within an hour of the city center are the fishing and sailing waters of Moreton Bay, scenic country drives, and the beaches of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

After a "Welcome to Country" performance at the airport by Riverlife Mirrabooka's Aboriginal Dance Troupe, you'll be taken on a guided tour of Brisbane to help you get your bearings and hear about the history of this vibrant city and why people love to call it home.

You'll enjoy cocktails in Brisbane's super-cool venue, Cloudland, and then be treated to a very special "Welcome to Queensland" gala dinner.

After breakfast at the Boardwalk Cafe, you'll then say a farewell to Brisbane and head an hour south to the Gold Coast. With 50 miles of sun-drenched beaches, World-Heritage listed rainforests, theme parks, shopping and nightlife, the Gold Coast is one of Australia's leading vacation destinations.

Waves from the Pacific Ocean break onto golden beaches under a sub-tropical sun. It's images like these, and of course the bronzed Aussie surf lifesavers, that visitors come to see.

Upon arrival to the Gold Coast, you'll board a Tall Ship for a cruise across the Broadwater to McLaren's Landing on South Stradbroke Island, another of Queensland's secret attractions.

Back to the mainland, you'll watch the sun set over the spectacular stretch of beaches - a view like no other - where you will sip on a cocktail at QDeck, on the 77th floor of the world's tallest residential building, Q1.

You'll then be taken to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on their Wildnight Tour and Dinner. Witness the amazing nocturnal animals come out to feed, hunt and play. Watch a traditional performance by members of the Baribunma Dance Troupe - the only Aboriginal dance show on the Gold Coast.

Then you'll experience the culinary delights of the area at the Witches Chase Cheese Factory, the Mt Tamborine Brewery, lunch at the Polish Place and a tasting at the Mt Tamborine Winery. The Sunshine Coast's white surf beaches stretch for about 40 miles, broken only by an occasional headland or the clear water of a river estuary. A very popular destination for Australian vacations, the Sunshine Coast is your final destination on this amazing trip!

This morning you will get up close and personal with Australia wildlife at Queensland's most famous zoo and home to the late 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin, Australia Zoo.

You'll spend the afternoon on a guided tour of the subtropical hinterland of Queensland's Sunshine Coast, a short drive west from your beach accommodation. Partake in some of the special shopping, dining and sightseeing experiences found in the small eclectic communities of this region.

Your final destination for the day is the quintessential beach resort town of Noosa, where you'll enjoy a very unique evening meal.
