Surrounded by the picturesque waterways of the Whitsundays, qualia puts a great many pursuits at your disposal, from water sports, diving and snorkelling to reef tours and fishing. Should you wish to spend time on a yacht visiting the pristine sands of Whitehaven Beach or enjoying the wonders of the reef via a scenic helicopter flight, it can be arranged so your time away is uniquely yours.

Two restaurants open only to qualia guests - the elegant Long Pavilion and Pebble Beach, a more casual space - will provide exceptional food and wine experiences. Special intimate dining options on the beach or in the library or private dining rooms will also be available. All meals are included. Alternatively, guests can try out any of the other fine restaurants on the island during their stay.

Style of accommodation

qualia offers the indulgent choice of 60 individual pavilions, four time larger than a standard hotel room, that have been perfectly nestled into the natural environment to compliment the unique surroundings. Each elegant and private pavilion boast stunning post card views of the Whitsundays and some pavilions also feature plunge pools. All pavilions have been carefully designed by Australian architect Chris Beckingham to blend into the natural environment, giving the resort an unique sense of space and harmony.

The "Windward" Pavilions include their own plunge-pools and are over four times the size of an average hotel room. The "Leeward" Pavilions will also delight guests with their sense of space and meticulous design features. But the ultimate experience in luxury accommodation can be found in Qualia’s Beach House, which offers uninterrupted sweeping views over the Coral Sea and features a spacious bedroom, extensive entertaining area, and private full-size swimming pool in the main pavilion. It also has a separate guest pavilion.

Spa experience

Spa Qualia, a beautiful six-room spa with four single treatment rooms and two couples rooms complete with Roman baths, is located on the pinnacle of the point, giving it sweeping views. A wide variety of soothing spa treatments is available.
